HOLIDAYS HOMEWORK 2017-18
  It’s time to Relax, Reflect and Recharge..........
Dear children,
We wish that you enjoy every minute of this summer holiday with your family and friends. At the same time you also have to be connected with your academics. We are giving you a variety of fun filled activities which you can do during the noon time. Do them neatly and submit to your concern teacher after vacation.
    English
1)       Read the newspaper Regularly and cut 5 articles from your old newspaper and paste them on the scrapbook and give one caption to each of them.
2)       On a half sheet of chart paper , make a collage based on advertisement of health products. Give it a  suitable title.
3)       Everyday learn 5 words of English alphabetically and their meanings and make a beautiful dictionary.
4)       Write 8-10 lines on what you want to be when you grow up and paste picture of that profession on scrap book .
5)       Do a paragraph of handwriting every day  on four line copy.
6)       Revise the portion of your syllabus that you have covered in periodic – 2
Note: Please make your homework creative and colourful as possible.      
EVS
1)       Collect samples of different types of fibres and paste them on your scrapbook. Name them and write a few information about them.
2)       Paste the different types of seeds on your scrapbook and write their names.
3)       Write a paragraph on ‘World Environment Day’.
4)       Find and write the names of any ten crops that are sent to other countries by India.
5)        Make a chap book (pocket book) of different plants and animals found in your region.
6)       Revise the portion done in the class.
Maths
1.       Make a Chap book of all formulae of maths.
2.       Write divisibility rules for 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,with five examples for each.
3.       Draw a bar graph of height of your family members.
4.      Prepare a bill for the items are purchased by you in the month of June.
5.      Prepare your own units of measurements by considering that you are an early human being.
6.      Stick pictures of symmetrical Indian monuments in your own scrap book and draw their lines of symmetry.
7.      Find out the area of different states in India and total area of India. Find the fraction of the area of each state to the whole area of India. How much area of India is covered by water?
